Dear Inverness Field Club
It’s with great sadness that I write to inform you that my wonderful father, Ken Davidson, passed away peacefully on Saturday 4th March, aged 93.
My Dad, and wife Lilian, were members of the Inverness Field Club for many years. I have fond memories of group treks along Wade roads and a trip to Raasay when I was very young. We lived in Balloch in the late 60s / early 70s and my parents knew Geoff and Margaret Gill well. I remember play dates with their children Andrew and Alistair.
I would be grateful if you could share this sad news with club members, the more veteran of whom may remember my dad, Ken.
A funeral service will be held on Friday 24th March 2023 at 11:30am in the Funeral Home of William T Fraser & Son, Culduthel Road, Inverness thereafter to Strathoich Cemetery, Jenkins Park, Fort Augustus. A wake will be held from 2:45pm at the Beaufort Hotel, 11 Culduthel Road, Inverness. Those not travelling to Fort Augustus are welcome at the Beaufort before this time. The funeral service will be live streamed on the website of William T Fraser & Son, Funeral Directors.
