Study Excursions Programme 2024

Full day Study Excursions by Coach

  • 18 May 2024

    Lossiemouth and Elgin

We will see the new bridge to the East Beach at Lossiemouth and some effects of weather on the sand dunes, then the Biblical Garden at Elgin, with its many unusual plants.  We return via Craigellachie and Aberlour.

  • 20 July 2024

    Blair Castle

There’s plenty to see at Blair Castle, both inside the Castle and in the lovely gardens and grounds, so you’ll be free to wander and just savour at your own pace.

  • 21 September 2024

Aultbea Arctic Convoy Museum and Poolewe

This excursion has been altered from the original visit planned to Corrieshalloch and Aultbea due to timing limits. Corrieshalloch Gorge will now be visited in 2025. This will allow us to spend time at Aultbea Museum without rushing, and will also allow more time for Corrieshalloch next year. The visit to Poolewe will include afternoon tea at Pool House, which has wartime connections with Aultbea.
