Full day Study Excursions by Coach

    Glen Grant distillery and thereabouts

    Part of the day will be spent wandering around the restored woodland garden, a rare example of Scotland’s Victorian garden heritage, with the exotic appeal of plants from around the world. You can choose to have the 40-minute Distillery Tour or just spend time in the garden.

    Blair Castle

    There’s plenty to see at Blair Castle, both inside the Castle and in the lovely gardens and grounds, so you’ll be free to wander and just savour at your own pace.

    Corrieshalloch Gorge and Aultbea

    The revamped Corrieshalloch Gorge facilities are a big improvement and well worth seeing. Following that we will head for Aultbea and hope to investigate the Russian Arctic Convoy Museum and the Arctic Convoys Memorial.

    Exploring Tomnahurich Cemetery for famous names from the past.

Please send a stamped, self-addressed envelope to Mrs Eileen MacAskill, one envelope for each excursion, marked with the name of the excursion in question. Details of cost, timings etc will be sent out using these envelopes nearer the time of each excursion. At that point, you decide whether you want to come or not and you send payment then.
