Margaret Gill Memorial bench

The group of friends organising the memorial reports as follows:
Margaret's bench is now in place in The Botanic Gardens, Inverness. We are having a get together for friends and donors to meet up and see the bench on 23rd August 2022.
Ewan MacKintosh has kindly offered to take us round to see what is going on with The Grow Project at The Botanic Gardens, and we are meeting him at 1pm in the café to start the tour.
We can't make a group booking for teas at the café, but coffee or tea will be available there after we visit the bench for those who wish.
Anyone unable to make the tour may just have a wander down to see the bench at the far end of the gardens in the wild flower and orchard area, by the hedge at the back.
Thanks to everyone for their patience waiting for the bench to be installed. We had to change the site from Culloden Library due to unforeseen problems arising after lockdown, but Margaret's tree is there, and thriving, and will be cared for as it grows.
