October lecture brought forward to Tuesday 19th October
Added on 18 October 2021
Unfortunately our Inverness College UHI venue is not yet available for public meetings, so we will be using Zoom again, at least up until the end of the year and possibly for longer. However, one of the benefits of Zoom is its flexibility, and just in the last couple of weeks Ross Barnett has been offered a lectureship at the University of Durham, which for complicated logistical reasons means that his original date of Wednesday 20th October is not possible for him. So, we are going to bring forward his talk by 24 hours and it will be delivered, 'live' on Zoom, on TUESDAY 19th OCTOBER AT 7.00 PM. He will be able to answer questions and to engage in discussion with the audience. The Zoom link for the TUESDAY talk is

The Zoom talk on Tuesday evening will be recorded and played again at 7 pm on Wednesday 20th October for the benefit of anybody unable to join us on Tuesday. Anybody wanting the Zoom link for the Wednesday talk should contact the Hon. Secretary by email, who will send it separately.
